 System Components

SpeeTile 10

The modular SpeeTile 10 mats are made of recycled plastic and have an open structure. One SpeeTile 10 mat is 0.9m² (120x75cm) and consists of 40 tiles of 15x15cm. With the patented click-break-slide system, measuring in advance is no longer necessary and the system always fits without cutting or cutting. This way you avoid waste and save time. Plugs to fix the mats are included in the SpeeTile 10 tiles. The SpeeTile 10 mats can be used with the SpeeTube Ø10mm (pipe to pipe gap is 7.5cm) and can be finished with screed leveling mortar (floor) or stucco or loam (wall).

SpeeTube Ø10×1,3mm

The SpeeTube 10mm tube is suitable for heating and cooling with the SpeeTile and SpeeTherm system. The SpeeTube has a diameter of 10mm and a wall thickness of 1.3mm. The 5-layer PE-RT pipe is KOMO and SKZ certified and oxygen diffusion-proof. All SpeeTube rolls are marked every meter so you can easily read the distance laid. Connecting the SpeeTube 10mm pipe to the distributor is done by means of the PushFit 10mm couplings.

The SpeeTube 10mm tube is available in the following lengths:

80m, 240m, 480m and 800m

SpeeTile 12

The modular SpeeTile 12 mats are made of recycled plastic and have an open structure. One SpeeTile 12 mat is 0.96m² and consists of 24 tiles of 20x20cm. With the patented click-break-slide system, measuring in advance is no longer necessary and the system always fits without cutting or cutting. This way you avoid waste and save time. Plugs to fix the mats are included in the SpeeTile 12 tiles. The SpeeTile 12 mats can be used with the SpeeTube Ø12mm (pipe to pipe gap is 10cm) and can be finished with anhydrite or sand cement at your own discretion. SpeeTile 12 is often used when more installation height is available in, for example, non-residential construction.

SpeeTube Ø12×1,5mm

The SpeeTube 12mm tube is suitable for heating and cooling with the SpeeTile system. The SpeeTube has a diameter of 12mm and a wall thickness of 1.5mm. The 5-layer PE-RT pipe is KOMO and SKZ certified and oxygen diffusion-proof. All SpeeTube rolls are marked every meter so you can easily read the distance laid. Connecting the SpeeTube 12mm tube to the distributor is done by means of the PushFit 12mm couplings.

The SpeeTube 12mm tube is available in the following lengths:

100m, 300m and 600m

Edge insulation

The edge insulation is used in combination with the SpeeTile wet construction system. It can accommodate shrinkage and expansion of wet screeds and reduces sound transmission from the floor to the wall due to its acoustic properties. This edge insulation with flap is attached to both wall and floor by means of an adhesive strip. The roll of 50m has a height of 100mm and a thickness of 5mm. After following the firing protocol, the excess edge insulation can be cut away. Please note: because the SpeeTile 10 system is ultra thin, the black adhesive strip can leave a mark on an already finished wall. To prevent this, you can protect the finished wall with painter's tape before applying the adhesive strip.

SpeeTight Contact Adhesive

The SpeeTight contact adhesive has been developed to bond the SpeeTile tiles to flat, fabric and grease-free dimensionally stable subfloors. Packaged in a handy 500ml spray tube. With one spray can of SpeeTight you fix an average of 5m² of SpeeTile in a checkerboard pattern. The average drying time is 45-60 minutes.

SpeeTight Contact Adhesive

Packed in a pressure vessel of 22L (17kg) a must-have for the professional who carries out multiple projects. The spray lance can be ordered. With one pressure vessel SpeeTight you can fix an average of 220m² of SpeeTile in checkerboard pattern in no time. The average drying time is 45-60 minutes.

Primer Schonox SHP

The Schonox SHP primer is very low-emission and solvent-free and can be applied to non-absorbent surfaces such as tiles, PIR or XPS boards. This ensures good adhesion of the SpeeTile to the base floor. The primer is applied with a coating roller, following the guidelines on the packaging. The Schonox SHP 5kg bucket is used with the SpeeTile 10 and SpeeTile 12 system.

Primer Schonox VD

The Schonox VD primer is very low-emission and solvent-free and can be applied to dimensionally stable absorbent surfaces such as screed and concrete. This ensures good adhesion of the SpeeTile to the base floor. The primer cancels out the absorbent effect of the substrate. The primer is applied with a coating roller, following the guidelines on the packaging. The Schonox VD is supplied in 1kg or 10kg packaging and is used with the SpeeTile 10 and SpeeTile 12 system.

 SpeeTherm

SpeeTherm 14mm plate 5m² box

The SpeeTherm 14mm sheets consist of expanded polystyrene (EPS) with a compressive strength of 200 Kpa. The SpeeTherm plates are 80x60cm with a height of 14mm. There are 11 plates in a box containing 5m². The specially shaped for purpose EPS sheets have an insulation value of 0.48 Rd and are used together with AluTherm thermal conduction profiles and SpeeTube Ø10mm heating tubes which have 10cm center to centers.

SpeeTherm 29mm plate 5m² box

The SpeeTherm 29mm sheets consist of expanded polystyrene (EPS) with a compressive strength of 200 Kpa. The SpeeTherm plates are 80x60cm with a height of 29mm. There are 11 plates in a box containing 5m². The specially shaped for purpose EPS sheets have an insulation value of 1 Rd and are used together with AluTherm thermal conduction profiles and SpeeTube Ø10mm heating tubes which have 10cm center to centers.

AluTherm heat conduction profiles, 5m² box

The AluTherm thermal conduction profiles can be used in combination with the SpeeTherm 15 and SpeeTherm 30 underfloor heating system. You can easily cut the profiles to size with AluTherm cutting scissors. The profiles are placed in the specially shaped for purpose EPS sheets (H.O.H. 10cm) after which the SpeeTube 10 heating pipe is inserted. The AluTherm thermal conduction profiles help to distribute the heat from the SpeeTube10 more effectively across the floor, as aluminium conducts heat 4x better than steel!

Manifold and accessories

Plastic open Manifold

This plastic modular manifold is made of a glass fibre reinforced Polyamide 6.6 resistant to glycol mixtures. In combination with a pump unit, it is suitable for high temperatures. The double-walled modules allow the manifold to be used for cooling without it being insulated. No condensation will form.

The manifold is equipped with adjustable flow meters (0-2.5 l/min) to precisely adjust the volume flows over the groups. The modular manifold is equipped with integrated thermostatic valves M30x 1.5. These are suitable to most brands of thermal motors for the purpose of possible control with room thermostats. Equipped with 2x ball valve, 1x thermomanometer, 1x thermometer, 2 x an automatic air vent and 2 x a filling/draining valve.

PushFit 10 & 12mm Single & Splitter

The 3/4" PushFit single & splitter 10mm & 12mm connection coupling is suitable for connecting 2 groups of SpeeTube 10 & 12 to one group of the manifold. The advantage of the galvanized PushFit coupling is that it encloses the pipe instead of pinching it, as a pinch coupling does. Because the tube is not constricted, this does not create any resistance. This ensures more flow and prevents blockages. With the PushFit system, you can easily assemble and disassemble the SpeeTube 10 & 12 heating tube with fewer steps. When using the PushFit splitter coupling, the 2 groups of SpeeTube 10 & 12 heating tube must be the same length, so that the flow and resistance is equal.

PushFit 10 & 12mm Repair Coupling

The PushFit 10 & 12mm repair coupling is used to connect 2 pieces of SpeeTube 10mm pipe.

Pump unit/mixing shunt with Alpha 2L pump

Hydraulically neutral pump unit equipped with energy-efficient Grundfos Alpha 2L pump. This pump unit is suitable for our double-walled plastic manifold and is equipped with an air vent, thermo/pressure gauge and an adjustable thermostat head with capillary. Easily switched from a central heating boiler to a heat pump, simply disassemble the pump unit from the plastic manifold and connect the supply and return pipes of the heat pump to it.

 SpeeTools

SpeeTrap 10 & 12mm

The SpeeTrap 10 is a fastening tool made from recycled plastic. This is intended to connect 2 parallel SpeeTube Ø10 mm heating tubes on the floor, wall or ceiling. This is done in places where there are no SpeeTile mats, for example at the manifold or where the SpeeTube Ø10mm has to be passed through the wall. Apply these where there are no SpeeTile mats, eg. at the manifold, because otherwise there is not enough space to guide all the SpeeTube.

Heating tubes to the manifold. In this way, the heating pipes are mounted tightly and at the correct height and do not float on the surface. This ensures that the assembly can be sleek, smooth and professionally finished. The SpeeTrap 10 has 1 attachment point in the middle. The plugs from the SpeeTile system can be used for fastening. The SpeeTraps can also be connected to each other by clicking them together, so as many heating pipes as possible can be guided in a small area.

SpeeTurn 10mm

The SpeeTurn 10mm is a transit solution made from recycled plastic. The SpeeTurn has 3 functions:
– Making connections between a floor and a wall or two walls (or ceiling)
– Creating a transit curve to the manifold
– Grouping on floor or wall

This SpeeTool has three attachment points and is suitable for the SpeeTube 10mm. The plugs from the SpeeTile system can be used for fastening. Because the height of the SpeeTurn is equal to the height of the systems through which the heating pipe runs, it can be finished invisibly and smooth, without chopping and breaking. Since the SpeeTile 10 system is suitable for floors, walls and ceilings, making simple connections between these surfaces is of great importance. This is because the heating pipe obviously cannot make a 90° turn between different surfaces on its own without kinking. In this way, an entire room (floor, wall, ceiling) can easily be connected to the same manifold.

Calibration tool

To ensure a clean connection with the push fits the Calibration Tool can be used to round the SpeeTube  again after cutting to size. Mounting the tube is therefore easy with the PushFit couplings.

Tube cutter

The 2 purpose Tube Cutter can be used to cut the SpeeTube 10 & 12 fo a clean cut with minimal distortion.

EPS Burner

The EPS Burner is a handy tool for the installation of the SpeeTherm system. With the EPS Burner, extra slots can be made in the EPS plates to place the SpeeTube Ø10mm. For long slots, use the AluTherm thermal conduction profiles as a ruler. To easily burn bends, you can use a round object of Ø100mm such as a tin or a PVC pipe. The EPS burner has a power of 100W.

SpeeTack (100 per box)

The green SpeeTack is used to attach the SpeeTile mats to a pressure-resistant insulation board. The fastening tool clamps around the middle of the SpeeTile with the 2 feet and fixes itself in the insulation board through the barbs. The SpeeTackers are placed in a checkerboard pattern and are suitable for both the SpeeTile 10 and the SpeeTile 12 system. 100 per box.

SpeeTplug (100 per box)

Due to the different green color of the SpeeTplug, you can easily see where you left off during the installation of the SpeeTile system. Drill size depends on the hardness of the substrate Ø 4, 5 or 6mm. 100 per box.

SpeeTrace Heat Detection Sticker

The SpeeTrace is a handy tool to trace the SpeeTube heating pipes of, for example, wall heating if you want to hang something. In this way, drilling without causing water leakage is possible. The SpeeTrace is a specially developed heat foil that changes colour at 28 degrees. To discover the location of the SpeeTube heating pipes, first turn off the heating and let it cool down. Next, switch on the heating and increase the temperature at the manifold. Then stick the SpeeTrace to the place where you want to drill the hole. The sticker turns green where the pipes of your system are located and stays black in the places in between. So do not drill in the detected green places.
